Doonya is a fitness and media platform focused on creating a healthy and happy community.

What began as a Bollywood dance school in Washington DC in 2005 has evolved into an online platform for fitness and lifestyle.

Yoga and ACE-certified fitness professionals, co-founders, Priya Pandya and Kajal Desai are dancers at heart. They are inspired by the joie de vivre of Bollywood, India’s movie and music industry where everyone is a star and every story has a happy ending.

Priya and Kajal create fitness routines perfectly choreographed to dynamic Bollywood and world music. Their creative moves and unique take on moving from the muscles to a beat takes the “work” out of working out.

Doonya’s program focuses on smiling while you sweat. The infectious music and charismatic instruction disguises an hour of intense cardio and conditioning where you burn 600-800 calories as a dance party.

Doonya has been featured on Oprah, The Today Show, Dr. Oz and in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Reuters and Shape Magazine. Purewow.com called Doonya “the happiest workout in NYC.”
